Fresh-Air Fitness Classes

Another unique amenity of The Escalante offered to our hotel guests, members and community


Beach Workout

Step out of the gym and onto the beach. This class will get your heart pumping, tone your muscles and burn a ton of calories. All levels are welcome. This class will teach you how to take advantage of your surroundings to create an amazing workout on land and sand. Wear your workout clothes and sneakers; and meet at The Escalante on the rotunda to start your class.


Water Aerobics

Working out in water is not only fun, but extremely effective for burning calories and toning muscles. This workout is great for all levels and you will always feel fantastic when you’re done.  The Escalante Pool Courtyard is the perfect venue for starting your day with this class.  Wear your suit and sunscreen everything else is provided.

M W F   9:30 – 10:45 am

Hotel Guests & Members: $20 per session /  Community: $25 per session

Monday – beach workout      (limited to 12)

Wednesday – water aerobics      (limited to 9)

Friday – beach workout      (limited to 12)

Trainer:  Remembrance (“Memmy”) Staber is a fitness/wellness certified specialist … providing exceptionally effective workout programs, group fitness classes and nutritional strategies. Clients have included professional athletes, film stars, CEOs and employee groups of large corporations. Academically, she holds a BS in Psychology and is certified as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Golf Conditioning Specialist and Post-Rehabilitation Technician.  Memmy is affiliated with major fitness certifying organizations — ACE, AFFA, AAFP.
